Ingredients

  • 4-6 Cups. Stale bread, crusts removed and cut into 1” cubes.

  • 4 Tbsp. Extra-virgin olive oil (use the good stuff here).

  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt.

  • 1 tsp. Black pepper, freshly ground.

  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder.

  • 1 tsp. Dried oregano.

  • 1 tsp. Dried marjoram.

  • 1 tsp. Dried basil.

  • 1 tsp. Smoked paprika.

  • 1/2 cup. Parmesano Reggiano, finely shredded

Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, toss cubed bread with oil until evenly coated. Add in salt, spices, and half the Parmesan. Toss to combine until evenly distributed. Arrange seasoned bread on baking sheet.

  2. Bake until lightly golden and toasted, flipping halfway through, about 12 minutes total.

  3. Add remaining Parmesan and return the pan to the heat until melted through and crispy.

  4. Let cool completely and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
